This was our first time to visit Cambridge and we could not have chosen a better place to stay than Guido and Maria's Woth House. From the very start when we were sent perfect directions for parking and getting access to the house. The room and decor were excellent and the breakfasts we had there truly warranted the breakfast award they won for 2023. Guido was so helpful with advice as to where to visit and helped us find places on the map that he gave us. We will be coming back and staying at Worth House when the occasion arises.

Easy to find the property, parking by bumping up the curb could be easier, no check in on arrival just pick up a waiting key and go direct to room. Met our hosts at breakfast the following morning. All breakfasts were excellent and our room clean and tidy with a very useful coffee maker for when we came back from a night out. Our hosts Guido and Marie were charming and personable with Guido offering coffee anytime we wanted by just coming to the breakfast room and calling his name. The location is excellent and our stay overall also excellent. We thank you very much Guido and Marie for helping to make my birthday celebration just that little bit more special.

Just returned from a couple of nights at Worth House, we both had a very enjoyable stay, we enjoyed Cambridge but did not see it all, so at sometime, we will return for another few days, and contact Guido & Maria to see it they have a room available. This was the best establishment on our 12 day journey thru England. Every detail was attended to. Rooms were delightful and welcoming. There was no guess work as to how to get in or where to park your car. Breakfast omelette was the best I’ve had and the conversations with Guido enlightening and fun. Good location, outskirts of town but an easy walk in. Car can be left there which was super. Very clean, large, comfortable room, nice soft towels in roomy bathroom. We stayed in Room 2 and really we couldn’t fault it. The decor was very attractive with a very comfortable bed and we felt very relaxed in the room. The shower was room was very clean with unusual wall tiles and a roomy shower cubicle. The walk into the historic centre was easy along the river.Breakfasts were really good with Maria’s cooking and Guido’s attention. We would thoroughly recommend this B&B and best of all the good natured and lovely pair running it, Maria and Guido!

Worth House is a little gem of a place to stay with a very useful free place to park your car. Perfectly located with an easy walk to the centre of Cambridge. We truly enjoyed our stay at Worth House from the moment we got into our triple room which has more than everything we need (inc. bathrobes, espresso machine!). We had lovely home-cooked breakfast along with the owner's hospitality, and we were allowed to leave our car at the front of the house after check-out until we completed the Open Day. Our room was thoughtfully arranged with a sofa, wardrobes, chests, lots of shelves, and coat hooks which lots of B&B we've stayed before lack, and more importantly the beds were comfortable and the room was very quiet! We'd recommend this B&B to anyone who would like to visit Cambridge, as it's conveniently close to the centre with a real homely touch throughout it.

We had an extremely pleasant three night stay at the Worth House with both the quality of our room and the service received being especially excellent. The exemplary hosting by owner couple Guido and Maria was lovely to experience and we would have no hesitation in recommending to others the care and attention you receive during your stay. Breakfast was a real treat and delight setting you up for the day.

Our stay at Worth House really felt like a vacation. Guido and Maria have created an oasis of comfort that helped make our visit to Cambridge really special. We were able to take nice walks to Kings, the Botanic Garden, and the Fitzwilliam Museum, enjoy the sights and the cultural activities, and then come home to a peaceful environment where we felt a bit pampered (delicious breakfasts and upscale bathrooms) and welcomed by Guido's friendly personality. Breakfast was really good and the host was nice, chatty and made you feel welcome.It is only a short walk to the city.

We only stayed one night and it was booked on the previous days. No problems at all. Very easy and flexible to check-in. The house is located very close to city centre (15-20min walking). The room was very cleaned and the hosts pay attention even to the little details like having a coffee machine in the room or even protector hair spray. Maria and Guido were very approachable and nice during breakfast making sure we were having a very good experience. I advise this accommodation for sure!

Just spent two nights at Worth House, and would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Cambridge. Our room was spacious enough for three adults, very nicely decorated, and with every amenity to hand. The B&B was close to town, pubs and nice restaurants. We booked two nigths at Worth House for a tourist trip to Cambridge an we were completely happy. A very nice couple, Maria and Guido, who run the the accomodation are perfect hosts. The room was spacy and lovingly furnished and the breakfast was really terrific.

You cannot go wrong if you stay here. Worth House is an easy walk to the center of Cambridge where sites to see, andpubs, restaurants, and shopping is located. Worth House hits the mark on everything. They have safe and secure parking on site,everything is incredibly clean and organized, breakfast is on the level of a 5 star restaurant, the room decor looked like they used a professional decorator. The owners of Worth House are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They are helpful without being intrusive, they respond to any requests or issues immediately, and they make sure your stay is wonderful. I highly recommend Worth House !

Worth House is spotlessly clean throughout, and is without doubt one of the nicest and best-run places we have ever stayed.Guido and Maria are charming hosts who go out of their way to make sure guests have a comfortable and happy stay, and lots of thoughtful little extra touches are provided throughout.Our bedroom had a really comfortable king-size bed with beautifully-ironed white, high-quality linen, and superior pillows and duvet. The bathroom had every convenience, including shower caps, face flannels, toiletries (with both liquid and bar soap) and a non-slip mat was provided for the large double-size shower. Ample towels and even bathrobes completed the picture.The room itself had a fan,a multi-channel TV which included Netflix, Prime and other viewing options in addition to the usual UK channels, hair dryer, coffee machine, kettle, bottled water, and one of the best selections of beverages and complimentary biscuits we've ever seen.Worth House is located about a mile from the city centre, but using ther large car park and the No 2 bus service (current fares are £2 per journey per person) meant getting to and from the sights was very easy, and far less hassle than trying to park in the city centre.

A very nice B&B about 15 to 20 minutes walk (most of it along the river Cam) from the historic city center. Excellent breakfast with a wide variety (we loved the omelette), we were well entertained by the host during eating. A nice room and the bathroom was spacious with a very well working shower (good water pressure).

The rooms are spotless, beds are comfortable, there’s everything you need to be able to relax after your journey. Coffee machine, tea and biscuits all in your room. But the best thing of all are the hosts. Amazing people. They will look after your every needs. My daughter has an eating disorder and struggles around people. Their help with my daughter was above and beyond anything I could have expected. Amazing couple. I nearly forgot to the breakfast is the I’ve had. We booked this place to stay based on the reviews and it did not disappoint. The hosts are lovely and welcoming and will go above and beyond to make sure your stay goes well. The room was spacious but cosy, was spotless, beautifully decorated and ticked every box. The breakfast in the morning was top notch, it is also lovely to see other people staying in the house eating in the same room. Good banter with the hosts and a very friendly atmosphere made this an enjoyable experience. We do not have a single bad thing to say and will definitely be visiting again. Perfect!

This was the second time we have stayed at Worth House and once again the proprietors, Guido and Maria came up trumps. We stayed in the largest of their rooms, it was spacious, well decorated and the attached en-suite bathroom well planned and luxurious. But it’s not the rooms that make a stay at Worth House so memorable it is the warmth of the owners. Nothing is too much to ask of them. They serve truly delightfully breakfasts with a large variety of breakfast tastes catered for. If there is something different you want Guido will try and help. The owners show flexibility with breakfast times and menus and provided us with much needed espressos ahead of our participation in this year’s Cambridge Half Marathon. Guido is also a born raconteur, who will engage you in conversation, supplying many an anecdote, or leave you in peace if that’s what you want. I cannot recommend Worth House more strongly and we will be back again!

Worth House is a really great b&b. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed. The bathroom was especially nice with a fantastic shower. It is an easy walk, partly along the river, into the city centre. Breakfast was very good - I would recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs - and there is a toaster on each table too so your toast doesn’t get cold.We will be back!

La chambre était chaleureuse et fonctionnait très bien dans la chambre de bain nouvellement rénovée, notamment la douche. Les déjeuners étaient copieux et très bons.Toute la maison était très propre. My family of three had a very comfortable stay in the family room.Both Guido and Maria are wonderful hosts who are attentive to guests’ preferences and serve great breakfasts. The room and ensuite toilet were clean and nicely decorated. Will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Cambridge!

We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Worth house, Guido made us feel welcome and was very entertaining at breakfast. Our room was very spacious and some lovely little extras. Lovely walk along the river Cam into the centre of town passing some great pub's on the way. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at Worth House for 2 nights. It's situated just under a mile from the centre and there's a bus stop near to take you into the city. Free parking. Really upmarket for a B&B with nice touches like a coffee machine in your room, dressing gowns and chocolate bars! Breakfasts really good. Host very amusing and you are made to feel at home. Would definitely stay there again if visiting the area.

I cannot rate this place highly enough, great hosts, lovely accommodation (the attention to detail is second to none) and excellent location (a steady 15 / 20 minute walk to the centre of Cambridge via the beautiful Jesus Green). We have stayed twice and will definitely return.

Food, hospitality and location were perfect.However, any hotel owner worth their salt should know that it is inappropriate to ask someone where they’re ‘really from’ after you tell them a British city. It is the height of rudeness when they keep asking despite you giving them the same answer.To add insult to injury, the above was compounded with the comment: ‘your name doesn’t sound very…(followed by the name of the British city).I am appalled by the sheer ignorance/potential racism I experienced at this hotel.Who would think it’s actually 2022.

We stayed at Worth House for a 3 day visit to Cambridge in late May. We loved our room and the location was excellent. I particularly liked the attention to detail with a toaster on your table so you could ensure you got the temperature of toast you required .The chairs had rubber feet so no dragging about racket at breakfast and a nice pack of items in your room in case you had forgotten anything. We walked into the centre every day along the river bank and stopped off for a beer on the way back. Bliss.Thank you.

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable 3-night stay at Worth House where, like many other reviewers, we we felt welcome and well-looked after by Guido and Maria. The room was warm in the evenings when we came back after dinner and well-stocked with beverages, biscuits, tissues and good toiletries, as well as extremely clean. Breakfast was very good, plentiful, with many flexible options.We found the 15-20 min walk into the historic centre very pleasant along the river and thoroughly enjoyed the architecture and atmosphere around the colleges and down narrow lanes with hidden boutiques and cafes. When we had to leave a bit earlier than planned because of a problem back home, Guido was most helpful with prompt breakfast, calling taxi, etc. Thank you for your generous and attentive hospitality. We would definitely come back if visiting again.

Our host was welcoming and provided helpful information. It was very comfortable and also a convenient place to stay and walk into Cambridge centre along the river path.

This was our 4th stay in a year at Worth House. We feel very comfortable there , knowing it is very very clean and the breakfast is one of the best we have had. The bed and pillows are amazing in all rooms { we know this because we have had 3 different room when we have stayed) . Lastly the proprietors Guido and Maria are very welcoming and cater for your every need.

Spacious and comfortable room.Everything was done to make our stay enjoyable and stress free - they thought of everything.They even noticed after cleaning on the first day that we had brought a bottle of wine and put wine glasses out for us - without us asking at all.This little touch was typical.Super breakfast, really flexible and accommodating, even with fussy eaters. About 15 minutes walk to the centre of the city.

We arrived late on Friday as planned and the keys to the room were waiting for us as arranged. Even prior to our stay Guido and Maria, the proprietors had made contact to explain the arrangements. The room was delightful, and had clearly been decorated with care and thought. The bed was MOST COMFORTABLE and we had two excellent night's sleep. And the breakfast - WOW! Guido was attentive to our every need whilst Maria cooked. IT was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful - thoroughly recommend! Guido was a charming 'host'. We cannot recommend Worth House enough and can't wait to return in the not too distant future!!

We were warmly welcomed to Worth House after completing the Cambridge Half Marathon.Our double room was very spacious & clean with great facilities.The bedroom and en-suite bathroom were luxuriously decorated and it was an unexpected added touch of having bath robes.There was a very large choice for breakfast including a variety of omelettes, scrambled egg & smoked salmon or full English.We both opted for the full English which was of a high standard and well presented.Guido & Maria are excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble and their relaxed but friendly manner would mean we wouldn’thesitate in returning.Thank you for a great stay.

We stayed at Worth House for 2 nights. The kerb in front of the house is not dropped but there is parking at the back. Please read Guido’s instructions because they are useful!We stayed in room 4. The room was very clean and comfortable. The linen smelt like it was freshly laundered. There was bottled water, coffee machine, tea bags, biscuits and some chocolate available so plenty of choice.I was surprised by how good the soundproofing was because we didn’t hear any noise from the surrounding rooms.Breakfast was great too! A lot of choice and there is a toaster on each table so you can toast the bread how you like it. The only downside is that there are no hash browns in the cooked breakfast!The house is about 15-20 min walk to the city centre and a nice walk along the river Cam. We will definitely stay again when we come to Cambridge. Guido and Maria were great hosts who could not do enough for their guests. Very attentive but not imposingly so.We actually lost our room key at 9pm on Friday night. We had to call them and they provided a spare key straight away. We found the key in the end! Sorry for the inconvenience, Guido and Maria!

Stayed in a well equipped comfy double room with a good sized powerful shower. The Wi-Fi reception in the room was spot on. Great choices of breakfast available cooked by Maria and Guido couldn’t do enough for us. Overall couldn’t fault anything.

A stunning old brick villa, beautiful bedroom, superb breakfasts, and gracious, warm, helpful hosts. So glad I found it for our first stay in Cambridge.

I do love a good B/B and Worth House is certainly a good one. We try to have a break in the UK at least once per year and always prefer a B/B. Worth House is well located for walking into Cambridge centre. Our room was warm, comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. There is no fridge but fresh milk is available from the fridge in the breakfast room, along with fruit, cakes, and yoghurt. I was impressed by Yorkshire teabags, sweeteners as well as sugar, and the emergency casket in the wardrobe full of the things you might need but have forgotten to bring. Toiletries are provided. The breakfast was superb, cooked by Maria, and ably served by our host Guido, who was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Worth House was a great find and we would certainly stay again if we visit Cambridge.

It has been a while since we visited Cambridge and were looking for a good quality place to stay, walkable distance from the City Centre and easy parking.Worth House read well on reviews and met our criteria.We booked and immediately had a very warm, welcoming email from Guido in response with all the details of Worth House and our stay. On arrival a few days later we parked easily at the front of the premises and were met by a smiling Guido who gave us a very friendly welcome and showed us to a large, nicely appointed bedroom,complete with a king-size bed, on the ground floor. A large clean bathroom with modern decor and a great range of toiletries was 'en suite'. There was a small patio outside the French Double doors with a table and a couple of chairs in a private area which unfortunately the weather did not allow us to try out. After a good night's rest we enjoyed an excellent breakfast under the very sociable and unobtrusive Guido who was exceptionally attentive to meet our needs. Maria produced tasty, well presented plates of food. All in all we found Worth House good value, good quality stay with excellent hosts and we would certainly stay here again without hesitation.It is well located offering lovely, even walks along the River Cam into the heart of the City, we, being nosy and dawdlers, took about 30 minutes to stroll to King's College. We had a lovely weekend at Cambridge. Guido and Maria are wonderful hosts and the breakfast was amazing. Guido loves to entertain his guests and we had a lot of fun. His espresso was like waking up in Italy instead of UK. We really enjoyed the stay and I highly recommend this accommodation.

A friendly welcome from Maria, a comfortable room with a great bath, chat from Guido over excellent breakfast s cooked by Maria. This is a comfortable and convenient place to stay, within walking distance of the historic city and the riverfront colleges. Only 2 very small criticisms: it would be nice to have a summer weight duvet, especially as you need to keep the window shut due to road noise (we live in a quiet rural area). The second is that it the number of extension leads somewhat spoil the room decor, so some more electricity sockets are obviously needed in the future. But we really enjoyed our stay.

A great place to stay if visiting Cambridge as its a short walk. The rooms are spotlessly clean and they have thought of everything you would need nice touches like a coffee machine and bottled water. The breakfast was delicious and we couldn’t have asked for anything more (vegan milk available without having to request it in advance). The walk into Cambridge was pleasant (took about 15-20 mins). This was the first time we have stayed in a hotel or guest house since the pandemic began and we were understandably cautious.We need not have worried.Everything here was spotless and our room was light and airy.The rooms have been decorated to a very high standard and we had a really good night's sleep.Breakfast the next morning was delicious.The hosts are extremely friendly and hospitable, and we were made to feel very welcome. We don't visit Cambridge often, but when we do, I can't imagine ever wanting to stay anywhere else.

What a treasure!! Guido and Maria are the perfect hosts! We have stayed in top notch hotels all over the world, but this place is hard to beat! Everything was perfect from beginning to end. From the moment I booked, communication was spot on! The room (4) was fabulous, with the most comfortable bed and pillows ever! The en-suite bathroom was a great size and layout and quality of towels and bedding was excellent! We even had our own little terraced area outside our room!Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked to order by Maria and served by Guido. We could not suggest even the tiniest improvement to this place. Definitely hope to go back again!!

I would highly recommend this accommodation for a trip to cambridge. Very clean friendly and great breakfast.About a 30 minute walk to the universities but very pleasant stroll through a park and by the canals.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at this special guest house! The rooms are beautiful, tasteful, spacious, airy and well lit, making it is immediately apparent that the host, Guido, goes out of his way to make sure that his guests feel at home, and are enjoying their stay. The place is quiet, providing a perfect getaway from a long tour around the city. Breakfasts are also made with care, and make a great way to start the day. Knowing Cambridge very well (after living there in the past), I can add that the location is also nice, just outside the inner ring of the city.Bottom line - I highly recommend it! and already looking forward to our return.

My wife and I recently spent four nights at Worth House on our first visit to Cambridge.Whilst some sightseeing amenities were closed to visitors (namely all College grounds) due to covid restrictions, we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Our stay at Worth House was just as enjoyable.Within a 20 minute walking distance of Cambridge centre this excellent b&b is well placed for sightseeing and local amenities such as pubs, cafes and local supermarkets. Our hosts, Guido and Maria were very welcoming and couldn't do enough to make our stay a pleasant and comfortable one.Rooms are decorated to a high standard and are spotlessly clean.Breakfast was excellent and plentiful.Highly recommended.

Accompanied my husband on a business trip because it was his birthday. Our hosts, Maria and Guido, were friendly, helpful and could not have been more accommodating, agreeing to requests for a late check-in, an earlier breakfast and a later checkout.Even an ice bucket and glasses were supplied for our celebration!The room (no 4) was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed and a lovely ensuite with a good shower.Breakfast, as others have said before, was fabulous! We tried the full English, salmon with scrambled eggs and the omelettes during our stay - all were delicious, nicely presented and freshly cooked with good quality ingredients - as good, if not better, than you would get in any good quality hotel.Free parking and Cambridge centre within reasonable walking distance was an essential benefit for us.The position, on a main road somewhat outside of the main centre, suited us as it was convenient for my husband’s commute to work. Several shops, pubs and takeaways are nearby.Our stay really could not be faulted but if I was being really picky, I would suggest a blind in the bathroom window which, although frosted, faces into a courtyard on the ground floor and felt rather exposed when using the shower which is directly in front of the window!Thank you Maria and Guido for a wonderful stay, I hope we will be back soon!

An excellent stay all round. From the initial contact and booking which was clear and straight forward, to a delightful welcome by Guido on arrival, everything was just great. What a lovely place! On arrival we were allowed to park early and greeted by a very friendly host who supplied comprehensive directions into the city too. The room was very appealing with a splendid, newly furbished walk-in shower. The little extras supplied made it extra special as was the knowledge that Guido was very approachable should we require anything else. As expected, breakfasts were of superb quality and choice - Maria did us proud! All in all a very pleasant stay with friendly, helpful hosts who made our weekend break most enjoyable.

As soon as I entered the building I was struck by the warmth in every sensé of the word. This is an amazing place to stay. So comfortable with a breakfast like I've never had before. Added bonuses are space for parking and the location, just a short walk from the city centre.

Of course it was, we couldn’t fault our stay. The room was excellent very roomy and comfortable with everything we needed, the breakfast was superb. We are glad we chose Worth House for our overnight stay. Guido was a great host and provided everything we needed as well as delicious filling breakfast in the morning with everything we could've wanted. The room was perfect, very clean, large comfy bed, great bathroom. We wanted to be able to walk to the city centre which we did, took about 20-25 minutes but it is a pleasant walk through parks and past lovely houses which we enjoyed. Parking too which was a bonus.

We stayed at Worth House from 6/3/19-6/6/19. As Americans who had not stayed at a guest house before, we were unsure what we were in for, despite the good reviews. In short it was a great stay.The longer version: We had privacy, a room that was clean and in good repair, and noises did not carry between rooms. We slept well and had enough room to store things in our room and a nice sized bathroom. The house was within easy walking distance of the town center in a nice, safe neighborhood. The owners couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Guido is a delight and he showed his hilarious sense of humor as waited tables for breakfast while his wife, Maria, cooked scrumptious food. She made us the best English breakfast we had during out stay in the country. Thus, each morning we got off t o a lovely start. We would love to return in the future ourselves and wholeheartedly recommend Worth House.

We stayed for two nights with the intent of visiting the colleges in town and attending Evensong. The location of Worth House was excellent, with many choices for dinner. Guido upgraded us to a larger room with a nice bathroom (instantly hot shower, lots of water pressure). Each day we returned to find chocolate in the room. Every breakfast put us in a great mood for the day, with Guido's stories and genuine concern for our well-being. Maria's cooking was excellent (loved the porridge!). Grazie mille!

When looking for a B&B sometimes you just get lucky and this time we really did get lucky. This has to be the best B&B we have ever stayed in and exceeded our expectations. They go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home.

A great night sleep is one thing but free parking is another and to get both in a built up area such as Cambridge is a bit of a rarity. We were fortunately to stumble on this little gem thanks to the other Booking.Com reviews and hoped those reviews were honest & accurate for what we too would be getting …and they wereAlthough on a main road, traffic noise in our room was none existent …. But “what a room “. We were booked into “room 2” with beautiful décor, well presented, and featuring everything and more you’d probably not get from some high end hotels. The shower was so big, getting 3 adults in there would have been a problem (erm, not that I tried!)Guido & Maria the hosts , were both welcoming and won in the well-kept breakfast room there was a hive of activity from the hosts to ensure other guests too were given a hearty breakfast to start the dayYou’ll be hard pushed to find not only a well-kept , well run establishment by two lovely people and my wife & I are most defiantly taking up that more than welcome “Free Parking” when we next book again and room 2 it is ( subject to availability of course ! ! )

Guido and Maria were excellent hosts, exceptionally clean and well appointed rooms. Breakfast wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for this really friendly couple. One thing is if you are not too good on your pins, it's a 20 min. walk to town. however the room rate is so reasonable, get a taxi!

You will receive a very friendly welcome and help with your stay.Guido asked why we were in Cambridge and supplied a map of Cambridge. HE is a great host. The bedroom had a large soft bed and we felt like we were in a marshmallow. There was a good quality coffee machine and chocolate as well as the usual packets of biscuits. Slippers and dressing gowns were supplied. There was an emergency box even with toothpaste. Luxury towels and good quality toiletries. We were in room 3 which on the main road and it was very quiet.The breakfast was amazing. Great choice of items. Cereals, fresh and dried fruits, warm croissants which had just come out of the oven. Gluten free sausage which was lovely as it has a higher meat content. Thick bacon, tomatoes on the vine, what a change to see this. Lovely presentation and portion size.Your own toaster on the table and lovely cafetiere coffee.Would thoroughly recommend Worth House and would use again when next in Cambridge.

Everything about this B&B was just perfect for us. Guido met us as we arrived and was helpful and courteous as well as making us feel comfortable. The room he took us to was very well decorated and furnished with a very high standard of all that was there. A coffee machine, a kettle, tea bags, coffee pods, and bottles of water. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding smelt lovely. The en suite had a very good shower as well as a lit mirror and plenty of towels. And the toiletries were plentiful!The breakfast the next morning was perfect and justly deserved the award given. Then we were given good advice about where to eat in the evenings as well as how to enjoy the beautiful city if Cambridge. Nothing was toomuch trouble for our hosts and I have no trouble in recommending them to everyone.

Stayed here for a long weekend in February.Very nice house and we were well looked after by Guido and Maria.Not far to walk into the city along the river and there's also a few pubs and eating places nearby.

I booked a night's stay at Worth House at short notice and I was so pleased I chose this place. The room was clean, comfortable and fitted out to a very high standard. I was very impressed with how generously the rooms were supplied with fresh coffee, tea, biscuits etc. The location is within easy distance of the city centre, and the service and attention from the owners went well beyond what I was expecting. Guido and Maria have got a lovely B&B going here. The rooms are well equipped with everything you'd expect and comfortable beds. The breakfast options cover just about everything you could desire and come with Guido's excellent service and Maria's wonderful cooking.Most importantly, you're left to your own devices unless you ask otherwise which is perfect for a romantic getaway.

We arrived too late to meet the owners but had clear instructions given for getting in.The room was beautiful, clean and with tea/coffee making facilities.Large ensuite bathroom with good warm shower over the bath.Sadly had to leave too early for the breakfast.Very conveniently placed b&b for buses into the town.

Guido and Maria are truly excellent hosts, the level of service is second to none. It's the thoughtful things that make the difference between ordinary and excellent, and they provide these in spades - from the individual table toasters to the "emergency box" in the room! I stayed at the Worth House for two nights and I never had a better experience in a B&B. The room was fantastic, very clean and tidy. The breakfast was superb. Most importantly, Guido&Maria hosting skills are impeccable. They're super-friendly and are always trying to make your staying as much comfortable as possible. Best B&B ever! Go there if you are traveling to Cambridge. You won't regret it.

Stopped here with my daughter whilst attending University open day.Location is ideal 15 minute walk to town centre and Uni sites.Accommodation.clean well appointed room . Had good size tv plenty wardrobe space and clean new bedding.HostGuido made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.Breakfast full good quality English and everything else you could want .Would not hesitate to return or recommend.

It was a wonderful experience staying at Worth House. The room was modern, immaculately clean and very comfortable. All the toiletries, tea and coffee were provided. The shower was excellent and it felt like we were the only people in the house - it was so peaceful.

We stayed just one night unfortunately at the worth house. We had a very comfortable and stylish room in a great city so I wish we had more time to enjoy the 2 places. The owners are very nice and helpful. The center of the city can be reached by foot walking along the river for 10-15 minutes. There are also restaraunts and pubs closer to the house if you don't want to walk to town but the neighbourhood is architectually interesting so worth the walk!

Maria and Guido really go the extra mile for their guests, excellent facilities, including parking.

The breakfast was a bit scarce (lacking in greens and other things), but this is typical for almost every hotel and B&B the UK.

Outside of home is attractive and even more beautiful when we went inside.Our room was more than I could have wished for.It was spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and beyond clean which is very important to me.Waking in the morning to the breakfast cooking was wonderful and even better when we went down to eat it.Huge array of breakfast items.Our hosts couldn't have been friendly and more welcoming.I highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again!! We really enjoyed our stay at Worth House and a lot of it was due to our exceptionally friendly hosts, Maria and Guido.This is a very small intimate B&B, which is well situated for visiting downtown Cambridge.We walked to/from all our sites, but buses and taxis were available close by.A few restaurants were a 5 minute walk away, as well. The beds/pillows were the most comfortable of the entire trip.Rooms were well furnished, clean and maintained.Breakfast and chit chatting with Guido was a lot of fun, and they made our food to order.Definitely one of our most favorite B&Bs of the entire vacation.
